SOUNDBITE: (English) Mark Adams, IOC Director of Communications (on allegations of doping by Russian athletes):

"Yes, it won't surprise you to know that the allegations were of course discussed by the Executive Board, very serious allegations I think we're all agreed on that. There was a determination to deal with them or get them dealt with quickly. Craig Reedie, President of WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) gave a short presentation to the EB (Executive Board). He is and has been in touch with the IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations) ethics commission. He's given the relevant information they need and he's been in touch. We will continue to be in touch ourselves. The President himself said yesterday that we are determined to get to the bottom of this. If the serious allegations are proved, we will deal with them. They have to be dealt with a proper way, there has to be due process. Those of you who have seen the programme will have seen the allegations. As with all allegations, let's wait to see to see what the commission of the IAAF makes of them before we take the next step."
