The mourning of Phillip Hughes continued on Saturday as young & old paid tribute to the former Australian batsmen,

Sydney cricket ground was awash with messages of love for the 25-year-old who lost his life on Thursday during a game at the SCG.

Michael Clarke earlier on Saturday revealed that the Number 64 will be retired from Australian one-day cricket as a mark of respect for Hughes, that being his number when he played for his country.

Australia were scheduled to begin their Test Series with India this coming Thursday in Brisbane, yet that has since been postponed following the tragic loss of Hughes.

The funeral is to take place on Wednesday with the service to be beamed at the SCG and Adelaide Oval, the home grounds of where Hughes played his cricket.

The loss of such a likeable figure in the game of cricket, was something, that is clearly being felt by all...

"He wouldn't want us to stop playing cricket. Cricket was his game, cricket was his spirit, it still is. I mean he's going to be 63 not out forever."
