SOUNDBITE: Stuart Lancaster, England head coach

"Pleased. Quiet.... satisfaction really because, we were under pressure from externally, but internally we were actually rock solid and we always believed in the plan and believed in the players that we had for this week. There was a real.... single-minded approach to the game we wanted to take. I thought we took it and I thought the players applied the plan really well. We didn't quite get it all right, but.... key moments such as Mike Brown putting the ball in the corner, turning them. We get the scrum and Ben Morgan gets his try. That's what wins Test matches."

SOUNDBITE: Ben Morgan, England number eight (on scoring two tries and being named man of the match)

"Really, really pleased with getting that, but I think more importantaly, I think one to 23, the squad were outstanding today. We went out there with a simple game plan. We stuck to it the whole time, even when we went down points. It was very easy to deviate from that, but we stuck to it throughout and we got the result."

    SOUNDBITE: Chris Robshaw, England captain

"We needed it today, didn't we. After starting off, we were stuttering a bit and a bit slow to get us going in this Autumn series, but to finish like that against quality opposition in Australia was, it was great."
