SOUNDBITE: (English) Arsene Wenger, Arsenal manager:

"He is very down. Jack (Wilshere) is a football man who loves the game, but on the other hand, he is a very strong character as well and he has learnt to deal with adversity at a very young age. He came always out stronger and I am... when I spoke with him he is already determined and already in his mind the final sprint of the season and to come back stronger. He is a very strong boy."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Arsene Wenger, Arsenal manager:

"I think these injuries are just a consequence of a tackler, but it's very bad... not malicious because I don't think (Patrick) McNair wanted to hurt Jack, but it is a very late tackle and anybody that goes in and gets a tackle like that can have this kind of problem."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Arsene Wenger, Arsenal manager:

    (on West Bromwich Albion)

"Look, it is a team with a good technical level, mature - a maturity within their team. They produce good quality going forward though their flanks, get top quality crosses in and they are very good on set pieces as well. All these kind of things we will want to control, but first express the quality of our game and continue to have the same dynamic in our game."
