Manager Arsene Wenger responds to comments made by Arsenal shareholder Alisher Usmanov questioning his role at the club.

"Look, I think first of all, for the 18 years I've been here I've shown I can take criticism and everybody has the right to have an opinion. Having said that, we have values at this club. The first one is that when we go through a difficult patch that we show solidarity and I think that is a very important one. And the second one, when you have something to say to someone, say it face-to-face, we don't need to go to the newspapers."

Question: "Do you take it personally?"
Wenger: "Not at all, believe me, not at all. I don't take it personally at all. It is an opinion that I respect but when you're from this club, you're from this club - you're in or out, you cannot be both."

Question: "Is it unhelpful?"
Wenger: "It is not unhelpful at all. And honestly, I don't give it big importance. We know the rules of the game, we know how it works. What is important is close we are together inside the club and how much we can respond to people that question our quality. I personally feel that there is a very strong bond inside the team and in the club and that this team will have a strong season. And and I'm ready to bet with you on that."
