Viktoria Plzen continue to set the pace in the Czech League, following a 2-1 win over Bohemians on Sunday.

    Script:

Looking to keep pace at the top of the Czech Liga, Jablonec travelled to Banik Ostrava on Saturday and their opening goal arrived just before half-time courtesy of some poor defending.

Ostrava gave the ball away inside their own half.

Martin Dolezal was on the end of the counter attack, sliding the ball past the 'keeper.

But the home side pulled level just after the hour.

A deep cross from the right eluded everyone apart from Tomas Horava and his header rolled over the line to make it 1-1.

It seemed both sides would have to settle for a point, but an unfortunate rebound put Jablonec ahead in the dying seconds.

Jan Baranek was the culprit again.

The 2-1 win moves the away side into second behind Sparta Prague.

But their stay only lasted for 24 hours as Viktoria Plzen leapfrogged both teams following a 2-1 win over Bohemians.

A penalty put the home-side ahead in the 31st minute.

Then 7 minutes into the second half, an own goal put them two up.

Bohemians clawed one back through this free-kick with 20 minutes to go.

But Plzen held on to claim their 11th win of the season and top spot in the league.
