Two early strikes from Brazilian forward Ari set up Krasnodar for a 2-1 win over visiting CSKA Moscow on Saturday (22 November) in the Russian Premier League.

    Script:

The tables were turned for Krasnodar and CSKA Moscow on Saturday, as the two teams' faceoff resulted in them swapping positions in the Russian Premier League.

Ari took matters into his own hands from the very beginning and shot in the 4th minute. Pavel Mamayev provided the cross, Ari steadied the ball with his chest, and slotted it in to open the score.

Ari didn't even give Moscow fans a chance to digest the initial goal, as he scored again just two minutes later. His fellow compatriot Joaozinho played the through ball, and Ari displayed a classy finish by fooling both defender Ignashevich and national team goalkeeper Akinfeev.

Despite the initial shock, CSKA recovered quite quickly, and managed to retaliate in the 14th minute. After a confusing mess of legs in the penalty box, Mario Fernandes managed to pass to Eremenko, who displayed a strike that was near impossible for Krasnodar to save.

This early end resulted in Krasnodar climbing over CSKA to second place.
