SOUNDBITE: (English) Manuel Pellegrini, Manchester City manager: (asked about his defence)

"Maybe if we scored before the first goal, maybe we didn't need that last five minutes. As you say, they had one clear chance with (Bafetimbi) Gomis and a free kick that was very near our post. But for different reasons we finish too quickly, the last pass, we didn't score. Also the goalkeeper made two or three very important saves. We are working every day to try to improve also in defending and I hope next Tuesday we are not going to make the mistake we made today."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Garry Monk, Swansea City manager: (asked about his team's commitment)

"That's the minimum requirement for my team that we say every week is to make sure we compete for 90 minutes and we do that. We did that very well and we that well today up against a very good side in Man City. Disappointed.... it shows how far we've come as a team and as a club to come off that pitch disappointed. I think with the chances we had at the end. They had some very good chances, but you know, the chances we had at the end, we really should have taken them and possibly took a point out of the game, but it wasn't to be."
