  • Intro:

Carlota Ciganda shot a 5-under on Friday (21st November) to share the 36-hole lead at 7-under par with Julieta Grenada at the CME Group Tour Championship.

    Script:

The second round of the end of season CME Group Tour Championship in Florida saw home favourite Paula Creamer struggle through to card a three over 75 to sit at the same score for the tournament.

Lydia Ko is one of three, who by winning here on the Tiburon Course, can claim the $1 million US Dollar end of season prize, yet her -1 under 71 leaves her six off the lead going into the weekend,

One woman who was shooting up the leaderboard was Chella Choi, the South Korean holing for eagle at 17 on the way to a -3 under round to sit at -4 for the tournament.

American Morgan Pressel shot the best score of the day with a bogey free 66 to sit at -6 under, one off the leaders.

That being one better than compatriot Michelle Wie's 67 who sits two off the leaders & looked happy with her day's work.

Yet it was Spain's Carlota Ciganda, who shot her way into the lead. Ciganda carding a bogey free 67 to rocket up the leaderboard and join Julieta Grenada on 7-under heading into the weekend.
