"It was mainly the putter that was the big difference, I think. Possibly even hit it better yesterday on a couple of occasions but I was definitely better on the greens today so I made some great putts for birdie and one dropped shot on the difficult fourth. It's a long par three. It was a (inaudible) and I missed it in a bad spot so not too much to do on that one but other than that I was bogey-free and made some good birdies."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Rory McIlroy
"Yes, I didn't quite have it. I guess you're gonna get rounds like that when you're just coming back after a little bit of a lay-off but I felt like I did well I ground out a score which was the main thing. I'm still pretty close to the lead so. There is still 36 holes to go so I'm still in a good position."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Danny Willett
"Yes, it's those mid-range ones really. Any thing that's 15-foot to kind of 30-foot. I actually feel pretty good over them this week, kind of seeing the lines quite nicely. You get in there too close and you can get a little bit twisted by the grain and, obviously, it's a bit breezy out there so when it's that length you kind of let it go a little bit more and just trust your first instincts."
