Reaction from managers and players after England stretch their winning run to six games with a 3-1 victory over Scotland at Celtic Park on Tuesday.

"We showed our intentions from the off, started the game very well. I can't think of many periods in the game really when I was really concerned that we were losing control and I thought that some of the movement, some of the attacking movement in particular was very good, and our defending was sharp and when we did lose the ball we won it back quickly. So you can't ask for much more than that in a game where you're playing a good team and you're playing away from home in a very supportive atmosphere for the home team and yet we still managed to quieten them and give our own fans something to cheer about."

SOUNDBITE: (English) James Milner (on the intimidating atmosphere and the experience that gives to younger players)

"It was a tough atmosphere. The pitch wasn't that easy to move the ball around as quick as we might have liked. It maybe needed an extra touch here and there and obviously with that way that Scotland play and press, that wasn't easy. But it was a good experience. That's the sort of atmosphere that you're going to encounter going into major tournaments so for the younger players to experience that is great and to finish the year with a win is obviously what we wanted to do and there's obviously a long break now but after a disappointing World Cup, we've responded in the best possible way and it's a process but we'll hopefully keep improving, keep working hard and building on the things that we want to do to become a better team."
