Late highlights from the fourth Asian Beach Games in Phuket, Thailand on Sunday (16th November).

Day Two of the 4th Asian Beach Games continued on Sunday in Phuket.

In their opening men's beach volleyball Group A match, Kazakhstan took on Lebanon's Nader Fares and Elias Abi Chedid.

And it was the Kazakh pair of Dimitriy Yakolev and Alexey Kuleshov who took the first set 21-19

The second set was another tight affair, yet at double match point the Kazakh pair needed just one opportunity to finish the game 21-19, 21-18.

It was then the turn of the hosts Thailand, who took on the Middle-East pair from Kuwait in the beach football.

Thailand were looking to make it two wins from two, while Kuwait were looking for their first one.

The south-east Asians went close early on following this audacious effort from Piyapong Songpiew.

And then Thailand's (10) Komkrit Nanan scored from this free-kick in the 24th minute to make it 1-0.

Kuwait then conceded this shameless penalty and Nanan leathered this effort into the back of the net.

As Thailand defeated Kuwait 2-0 to stay unbeaten and in charge of the beach football tournament.
