    Defending champion Novak Djokovic thrashed Marin Cilic 6-1, 6-1 in their opening match of the ATP Tour Finals in London.

    Marin Cilic could not have had a tougher start to the ATP Tour Finals in London, he faced Novak Djokovic.

    The defending champion put down a marker here with a dominant display, he took the first set 6-1 against the US Open winner.

    Djokovic has now won all 11 matches he's played against Cilic, this one lasted just 56 minutes.

    The Serbian was 5-1 up in the second set and had triple match point, what happened next was inevitable.

    So the number one seed off to a flyer, that's 28 wins in a row now on indoor courts. He'll face Australian Open winner Stanislas Wawrinka next, Cilic will play Tomas Berdych in what is now a crucial match for both players.
