Shoulder is doing well. Surgery went pretty well so now I am just doing all the rehab stuff that comes along with it. Been playing a little lefty tennis. I very eager to try my right arm again in a week or two - play a little bit to see where I am at but I won't know until beginning middle or next year - January, February, March - where I am really at, how the shoulder is recovering but, besides that, life is good."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Tommy Haas

"The main goal right now would be Indian Wells (March 9-22, 2015). That would be exactly eight months after my surgery so Indian Wells, obviously one of my favourite tournaments as well, it would be great to take part in that tournament. So that's the main goal. Hopefully, I can be there as a player. If not, I can probably come as a spectator anyway but that would be the main goal."

"It's great to see. For us players to have one more week in between the French Open and Wimbledon is always something that the players wanted so now they get it. To have another tournament on grass, especially for us Germans actually, in Germany - Stuttgart, Halle, to lead up to Wimbledon I think is terrific and, yes, I think I am very excited for that, to have that happen and it gives me another motivation to try to be here next year as well."
