"To bring the Presidents Cup here chose not only the global appeal of this great event but also the stature that Korea has taken on, on the world stage in hosting competitions of the highest calibre with tremendous success. In addition to what I know will be an incredible competition, and a great week for fans and visitors alike, we look forward to utilising the Presidents Cup as a way to tell the story about the very strong relationship, friendship and alliance United States has with Korea."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Nick Price, Captain, International Team,

"We have got a lot of work ahead of us. We have got to come up with a team that can take the might of America. I got a few tricks up my sleeve this year, this coming year".

SOUNDBITE: (Korean) KJ Choi, vice captain, International Team,

"If the 2015 President Cup is held in Songdo Jack Nicklaus Course becomes a good role-model and finishes its event successfully, (I can say) the upcoming future is bright. And. since this is a good opportunity to improve both the golf industry and national image, I think I should be a good mediator between the players and the citizens."
