SOUNDBITE: (English) Andrea Petkovic, 2014 Tournament of Champions winner:

"It was definitely a great season and I am especially happy that I met Flavia in the final because we are both coming back from injury and it's so amazing I was so happy when she won Indian Wells, I was really cheering for her because I know what she went through and it's really nice for us to play in the final after this season coming back from injury. So congratulations and I hope next season will be even better."

This is Petkovic's third WTA title of the year, and the first time that the 27 year old has won a hard-court event.
