  • Intro:

World number one Novak Djokovic and Milos Raonic will face each other in the Paris Masters final after wins over Kei Nishikori and Tomas Berdych respectively in the last four.

    Script:

World number one Novak Djokovic swept aside Kei Nishikori to reach the final of the Paris Masters.

Defending champion Djokovic won a one-sided match against the Japanese sixth seed 6-2 6-3.

The Serbian enacted revenge on Nishikori, who sent Djokovic crashing out of the US Open in the semi-finals two months ago.

The 27-year-old extends his lead over Roger Federer to 910 ATP Rankings points in the battle for the year-end No. 1 tag before the ATP World Tour Finals in London next month.

Standing in the way of Djokovic's third title in the French capital is Milos Raonic, who defeated Tomas Berdych.

After the biggest win of his career against world number two Roger Federer in the last round, Raonic claimed the first set.

The second was a different story when the Czech fifth seed levelled the match.

But in the 12th game of the third set Berdych paid the price for a spate of unforced errors to hand victory to the Canadian seventh seed.
