Dehli and NorthEast United draw a blank

  • Intro:

Dehli Dynamos draw 0-0 with NorthEast United in the Indian Super League on Wednesday in an entertaining fixture. (29th October).

    Script:

Dehli Dynamos captain Alessandro Del Piero was the star attraction as his side took on NorthEast United in the Indian Super League.

The former Juventus and Italy international was Dehli's most potent threat in an entertaining game and was narrowly wide with two first half shots on goal.

The first in the 14th minute flew inches past the upright.

Four minutes later he came just as close with a low shot that left Paramba flat footed in the North East goal.

NorthEast's most noteworthy attempt before the break came from Tomas Josl, whose shot from distance was also just wide.

After the break Del Piero skilfully created space before finding his strike partner Mads Junker in the 54th minute and the Dane was unlucky to see his neat flick come off the post.

The match started to fizzle out after that and just like the others before him, Leo Bertos failed to find the target in the 72nd minute as it ended 0-0.
