SOUNDBITE: (English) Mario Andrada, Executive Director of Communications, Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games

(on whether Oscar Pistorius will be welcome in Rio):

"It's not for us to judge him personally. He was judged by the South African judicial system. As soon as he fulfils his obligations with that system he will be a free man and a free man is entitled to compete wherever he wants. We have to keep in our prayers and thoughts both families. it was a tragedy. So with that in mind, I have nothing more to say - he will be welcome in Brazil as anybody else."

(asked if he would welcome a rematch between Oscar Pistorius and Alan Oliveira from London 2012):

"Oscar needs to clear his issues with the South African justice, his family and the family of his former girlfriend. He needs to heal from the tragedy. If both of them are there to race that will be a great rematch but the fact that one of them might not be there, or one of them might not be in the final doesn't change the whole thing, we're definitely going to have the top athletes in the final. This would be maybe an homage to the race they had in London, this would be one of the greatest events of the Paralympics."
