After plenty of weather problems, the final round of the Blue Bay LPGA on Hainan Island in China teed off Sunday under clear skies.

China's Feng Shanshan had a bright opening, picking up birdies on one and two to take her into a share of the lead at eleven-under.

But co-leader Lee-Anne Pace edged back ahead with a pair of birdies to move the South African to thirteen-under.

As has been the theme this weekend, the rain returned. 2.5 inches of it falling on Sunday and play was halted with Pace holding a two shot lead after 9 holes.

Play eventually resumed 4hrs later and Michelle Wie holed a birdie on the 10 to move to one shot off Pace.

Jessica Korda began the day as co-leader, yet was three shots off the pace at the 11th, she missed her birdie putt here and would fall five shots backs.

Leader Pace managed to pick up one more birdie at the 12th to move to -15 under.

And that was it for the day, as the horn signalled the end of play, meaning the inaugural Blue Bay LPGA will finish on Monday with Lee-Anne Pace leading Michelle Wie by four shots with five holes to play.
