Anirban Lahiri of India carded a splendid six-under 66 to win Asian Tour's Macau Open by one-shot on Sunday.

    Script:

A sense of deja-vu as last year's top two teed off in the final group at the Macau Open on Sunday.

Defending champion Scott Hend was the overnight leader with Anirban Lahiri of India two shots back on 12 under.

Ernie Els was well off the lead starting at two under, yet the Big Easy's swing looked as composed as ever. The South African finishing three under for the tournament.

Back with the leaders, Hend found this monster eagle at the second to move three shots ahead of the chasing pack.

Through the turn the Australian led by two shots, he bogeyed the 12th and then Lahiri put this tee shot within gimme range to draw level with Hend as he bogeyed 14.

The Indian found this shot from the sand to earn himself another birdie and the outright lead with three to play.

Hend pulled level after a birdie at 16, meaning the pair went down the last level.

Lahiri missed his putt for birdie meaning Hend had a putt to take it into a play-off.

He couldn't of been any close with this lip out. And as a result Anirban Lahiri claimed his first Macau Open title with the top two reversing last year's finish.
