"Wow. It was definitely a tough match. How I got through it, I don't know. I just stayed out there and kept hitting shots, kept fighting and doing the best that I could. Before I knew it was after a fourth match point I thought, 'OK, just go for it Serena', and then I was finally able to win after that."

SOUNDBITE: (English), Serena Williams:

"I feel weird though. I've never lost -- or maybe I have, maybe back in 2000 -- but I'm in the final. So it's weird, so it's like I lost but I'm still in the final. It's hard for me to compute that because tennis, normally it is elimination based. I got to start thinking with that football mentality. It's weird."

SOUNDBITE: (English), Caroline Wozniacki:

"I told Serena, 'I think I'm tired of you about now, I'm happy that I'm not playing you until next year.' But I'll give it another try. She is a great champion and she has played so well. Today it was a really tough battle -- I gave it my all out there, I can't really blame myself for anything because I played my best tennis and when it mattered she came up with some huge serves. At the end of the day I think that made the biggest difference."

"My preparation has been going great. I've always wanted to do it, it has been on my bucket list for so long - so this year's season ended a little early so I thought why not try and do it this year. I'm doing it for charity, I'm doing it for Team for Kids and hopefully we can still manage and raise a lot of money in the week that is left. I hope that people would like to support me through this race, it is definitely outside of my comfort zone -- it's going to be an amazing challenge and I'm looking forward to it."
