SOUNDBITE (English) Sam Allardyce, West Ham manager:

"I had a terrific performance today, that's the thing for me. It wasn't a lucky victory. It was a well-deserved victory. We made some outstanding chances. We put Manchester City's back four to task and in my opinion they didn't hold up. And I think they couldn't hold up because of the quality of our play in their final third is why we won the game today."

SOUNDBITE (English) Sam Allardyce, West Ham manager:

"Every man played his best today, that's the beauty. Every man went out there and gave their all, played their very, very best and deservedly got the victory that I don't think too many people was expecting today. So well done them (the players) and fantastic result. Fantastic run we're on at the minute and we'll all meet up next week and get started again for Stoke City away."
