A moving day at Royal Melbourne, for the third round of the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship.

With plenty of support from the gallery, Taiwan's Pan Cheng-tsung, moved up the leaderboard as he shot a 71 to go four-under.

China's Jin Cheng joined Pan at four under after he shot a 72 that started with this birdie on one.

First round leader Todd Sinnott dropped into second after the Australian shot a 74, eight of the pace at four under.

His compatriot however spent the day solidifying his spot at the top.

Antonio Murdaca got the birdie putt to fall on six as he went out with a 32.

Then on seventeen he nearly holed out for an albatross with this four iron.

Murdaca finished the day with a 67.

He's now leading the championship by eight shots at 12 under heading into the final round.

A victory on Sunday will clinch a Masters invitation for the Australian.
