Caroline Wozniacki eased past Petra Kvitova in their final group match of the WTA Finals.

Wozniacki had already guaranteed a place in the semi-finals and her 6-2 6-3 win sets up a last four clash with world number one Serena Williams:

Simona Halep took on Serbian Ana Ivanovic in the last Red Group contest.

The Romanian was already through and Ivanovic had the chance to knock out Williams with a straight-sets victory.

But Ivanovic had to settle for a 7-6 3-6 6-3 success. Halep now plays Agnieszka Radwanska in the semis:
