Korda leads LPGA China as storms hit

    Second round of LPGA Bay Blue in China abandoned due to weather on Friday (24th October).

    Script:

    After a two and half hour rain delay, second round play at the LPGA Bay Blue in Hainan Island, China finally got underway Friday.

    Former world number one Yani Tseng got off to a quick start with birdies at the first and third, then here at the fifth to take her to three-under for the tournament after five.

    Lydia Ko parred the opening two holes to remain at 3.

    Brittany Lincicome made the most of her short round as she birdied two of the four holes she got through, to sit at 4 under.

    As the conditions worsened, Germany's Sandra Gal got herself into the red for the day too. Here moving to to three-under with this birdie on four.

    Chella Choi was able to get her round started and picks up par on the first to remain at four-under as the heavens opened.

    That was it for the day's play as the top two groups were unable to get through a single hole.

    The tournament shortens to a 54 hole competition with Saturday's second round & Sunday's third round the final 18 holes.
