    (On Ross Barkley)

"You can have like-for-like replacements at times. You can have players who do certain jobs. I think Ross - what he brings to the team and what he brings to the squad is quite unique. So in that respect you want him available and you want him fit because it is contagious in his approach. He just enjoys playing football. He loves playing football and it has been a real boost to have him fit and enjoying the way he has been playing. It is important that we can keep everyone fit and available because the amount of games that we have - we need everyone and we need everyone fighting for a place on the pitch."

SOUNDBITE (English) Roberto Martinez, Everton manager

"I have seen Burnley play a lot during last season and they are a really, really strong unit. I think they play as a team. They know each other really well. They have got really good energy. I think the start that they had in the Premier League has already given them very good experiences and I know it's going to be really tough to face them on Sunday. Sean (Dyche) has done a... It is difficult to describe the job that he has done - going into a club or a team that he had no expectations to get promoted and now all of a sudden they play very dynamic and exciting brand of football that gave them promotion and now they are a team who can play eye-to-eye with any team they have faced in the league already. They got a good draw against Manchester United at home and Sunderland - obviously you are going to get defeats in this league. That's normal but they never ever stop competing and they got a really important equaliser at Leicester - just showing that mentality and togetherness that they have. We know that we will have to be at our best and we are not underestimating how hard it will be on Sunday."
