The derby that divides Istanbul is always a passion affair - Galatasaray playing host to Fenerbache.

The visitors had the best chance of the first half with Nigerian Emmanuel Emenike making a real mess when put in the clear by Raul Meireles.

However replays proving the striker had a case for a penalty.

Eight minutes into the second half, Bruno Alves was sent off for this inexplicable challenge on Blerim Dzemaili.

With just minutes remaining in the game, Wesley Sneijder curled in this wonder striker to send the Telecome Arena into pandemonium.

And the former Real Madrid & Inter man was at it again, two minutes later.

Alper Potuk got one back for Fenerbache, yet the bragging rights belonged to Sneijder & Galatasaray, who moved to within a point of Besiktas at the top of the Turkish Super Lig.
