Overnight leader Hae-ji Kang had a difficult second round at LPGA KEB-Hanabank Championship on Friday, just missing this birdie on the seventh as she went from a two-shot lead to two shots behind after an even-par 72.
Fellow Korean Il-hee Lee became the early leader with shots like this birdie putt on 15 that took her to four-under, but Lee ended the day two back at three-under after a 72.
Spain's Azahara Munoz is one of six players tied for third at three-under - after finishing with birdie on the last for a 69.
Former champion Suzann Pettersen is also tied third.
She finished with three birdies on the final four holes, the last coming after this tee shot on 17 as she carded a 71.
This birdie on 15 took Spain's Beatriz Recari to four-under and left her one shot back in second at after firing a 70 on Friday.
Recari is tied with American Brittany Lincicome, who had the shot of the day here on 17 when she nearly holed out at the par-three, 17th.
Lincicome settled for birdie and would finish on four-under after a round of 70.
Alone at the top at five-under after shooting a 68 is France's Karine Icher, who finished her round with this approach and birdie putt on 18 to take a one-shot lead heading into the third round.
