  • Intro:

There were wins for Pablo Larrazabal, Joost Luiten and Mikko Ilonenon the second day of the world matchplay golf. They give their reactions to the days play.

    Script:

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Mikko Ilonen:

"I thought I had a good chance to win this match, if I kept playing like I did yesterday. I started off strong yesterday, did exactly the same thing today, five under in the front, so I figured that Graeme (McDowell) is going to come at me on the back nine, and he did. There's a big turning point on 11 when he holed a long putt and I missed my make-able birdie putt. It would've been a big difference to go five up there rather than three up.

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Pablo Larrazabal:

"I tell you what, that was something incredible. I tried to make it up and down, to try to make five and, you know, and tried to have half-point and play against Shane (Lowry) tomorrow for, you know, to have a chance to go through and it went in. So, you know, it's one of those things that are hard to explain."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Joost Luiten:

"Yeah, I mean I was one down after five and then I won six and seven to go 1-up, then you win those three holes in a row with birdies and then you're 3 or 4-up and then, you know, he's going to run out of holes and just keep the pressure on him, and that worked out well."
