SOUNDBITE (English) Paul Adams, Cape Cobras coach:

"Yeah, I think it's always... you've got to rest yourself with a new competition, and it's a new year as well. We've got a couple of new faces within our squad. Giving opportunities to the young players is also great just to see the depth of the team. But the balance of the side is really looking good and as we get through the competition, this year there's two phases to it - so the first phase is vitally important to be challenging at the top of the table to put yourself in a position. So hopefully... We are defending champions, we look to put the performances back in."

SOUNDBITE (English) Rory Kleinveldt, Cape Cobras:

"Yeah, look, I mean it was always important for us to get off to a good start. We struggled a little bit in the Champions League, but we've obviously put that behind us and now we're focussing our energies on a new comp (competition) here in South Africa. It was very important for us to get off to a win, especially an away game - so yeah, very happy with that."
