SOUNDBITE (English) Graeme McDowell, 2013 World Match Play champion:
"Yeah, very much so, you know, match play is a very unique form of golf. It requires a slightly different mindset so, it's been nice to have a couple of weeks relaxation, recuperation after the Ryder Cup, and at the same time not having to switch the match play brain off. You know, I've been able to come here and just continue where I left off hopefully at Gleneagles and you know, start winning matches as early as I can in the week. I mean, it's a quality field, we talked about lost of good players to match up against and it's tough, you know. I'm in a strong group with Mikko Ilonen (Finland) and Joost Luiten (Netherlands) and Alexander Levy (France), so I mean, I know I've got my work cut out to try and qualify for the quarter-finals on Saturday but looking forward to the challenge and hoping to defend well."
SOUNDBITE (English) Henrik Stenson:
"Yeah, it hasn't been a bad season by any means. You know, I had my challenges set out, to try and live up to the results that I produced last year and also not being rested and practised enough, really, at any point in the season, so... it's had its challenges but I think I've done pretty well anyway and you know, it's just that time of the year we're trying to mobilise some energy for the last push. Basically, I haven't touched a club for two weeks, so we're just going to see how we get along this week."
