SOUNDBITE (English) Kevin Garnett, centre, Brooklyn Nets:

"I am super-competitive. The game of basketball is something I love to do and you don't have to push me to do this. I wake up everyday and I love to do this. The fact is my job is a plus and everyday I come here and I hope to play with the great guys around and the cool people. You know this is sort of fantasy for me, so as long as I am able to play, as long as I am able to contribute to our team then I will play, easy as that. "

SOUNDBITE (English) Brook Lopez, centre, Brooklyn Nets:

"Well you know, we went to a while well the stuff today. I think we are very confident in ourselves and I think it will be a very competitive game tomorrow night and the fans will enjoy it. "

SOUNDBITE (English) Ramon Sessions, guard, Sacramento Kings:

"It's getting better each day, I am new but the guys welcome me well and I think I fit in pretty well. I know our coach Malone pretty well when he was an assistant coach. It's kind of good for my game, and I am that type of guy that like to get down to the floor. I mean these guys have been great, I am looking forward to an exciting season."

SOUNDBITE (English) Mike Malone, head coach, Sacramento Kings:

"You can't snap your fingers and have chemistry but by being over here in China, having had meals together, eating together, going to the Great Wall, spending time together, that enable us to start that chemistry process and let us to come close together as a tea. So, a lot of people thought this trip is going to be very very hard, the positive for me, the silver lining was, yes, a lot of miles and a lot of hours on the aeroplane but also allow us to come together as a team, because all we have here is each other. So, we are getting better, we still have way to go but we definitely in the right direction."
