Dunhill Links lead 'pleasing' - Jacquelin

Saturday, October 04 2014 by SNTV
  • Intro:

Reaction from Alfred Dunhill Links Championship leader Rapha?l Jacquelin as well as Irish duo Shane Lowry and Pádraig Harrington, who are both one behind on eight under.

    Script:

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Raphael Jacquelin, France:

"Yeah, pretty happy -- especially the way that I finished, I birdied 17 and 18 and that is always good before having dinner and going to bed to rest. So, no, pretty happy with the score. Not happy with the game overall as, of course, I didn't play that well, as well as yesterday. But it was not that easy with a bit of wind, a bit of rain and a bit of cold as well so I think the course was not playing that difficult as expected but I managed to shoot under par. I'll take it."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Shane Lowry, Ireland:

"Yeah, I mean to be honest they way I played. To shoot two-under was quite good. You know, the forecast was pretty bad and everybody was expecting the worse but it wasn't actually that bad today and it got very... it played quite easy towards the end and I could have picked up a couple more but I am happy with the position I am in..."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Padraig Harrington, Ireland:

"I was very average. I really had a chance of stealing a march today. I three, three putts that were kind of innocuous, missed a few opportunities, today was a day... if things went right for me then I could have shot another 66 or 65 today and that would have given me a nice bit of a lead going into the weekend."
