  • Intro:

Embattled Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill said his team's 38-14 win over the Oakland Raiders at Wembley Stadium on Sunday (28th September) was "huge" for both himself and his team-mates.

    Script:

SOUNDBITE: (English) Joe Philbin, Miami Dolphins head coach: (On how his quarterback Ryan Tannehill played)

"I thought he played very well. I thought he had good rhythm. He had good tempo. He had good command. He was very decisive out there. I thought he threw the ball very accurately. I thought he made some plays with his feet, as well. I thought he made good decisions in the run game whether to give, whether to keep, whether to throw the bubble screens, etc. It looked like he played a very good football game."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Joe Philbin, Miami Dolphins head coach: (On where his team is at headed into the bye week)

"We're 2-2, a lot of football left to be played. A lot of improvement to be done. I told the team afterwards, that's a glimpse of some of the things we're able to accomplish when guys don't care about stats, guys don't care about who's getting the credit. Guys want to play as a team and you get a lot of guys pitching in and making a difference, and you can do some great things."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins quarterback:(On what the win meant for him)

"It was huge, not only for me but for the team as well. Just kind of shows the character we have as a team, being able to overcome everything that was going on and come out, travel through a long trip and play well."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins quarterback: (On if he felt more pressure heading into the game because of the speculation over his job)

"I don't think so, not more pressure. I think I've been more excited for this week, this game. As the week went on and everything, all the distractions, to finally leave the country, have a long flight, and come over here and get ready for the game. I think I was more excited for this game than I've been for a game in a long time."
