Petter Solberg won the inaugural FIA World Rallycross Championship as Timmy Hansen claimed the honours in Franciacorta, Italy on Sunday in round 10 of 12 (28th September).

The first FIA World Rallycross Championship has been decided with two races still to go.
Petter Solberg of Norway finished third and has enough points to ensure the title is his.
In a dramatic race, Timmy Hansen took the lead early as a number of drivers found themselves in trouble.
Andreas Bakkerud was forced to retire, while Johan Kristoffersson went wide and came off the track.
Petter Solberg lost his battle for second place to Richard Goransson, but it was enough to confirm his world title.

Ahead of the Norwegian, Timmy Hansen winning his first race of the season in a time of four hours, 55 minutes and 47.3 seconds.
