    The Indian men's archery team have taken gold, while the women claimed bronze at the Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

    SOUNDBITE Abhishek Verma, men's gold medal winner:

    "We came here after winning a medal at the Asian Championships.But because of the support from our federation (archery federation of india) and support from SAI (Sports Authority of India), then support from our country and support from our mothers...we had all this support behind us and our aim was to win gold medal here, and we have proved it here."

    SOUNDBITE Rajat Chouhan, men's gold medal winner:

    "We had to win gold, we just didn't need any other medal. We weren't going to lose and go back with a medal."

    SOUNDBITE Abhishek Verma, men's gold medal winner:

    "I would like to say that this group of guys were formed with a lot of effort from our federation, sports authority, our colleges, schools, our parents, all the people of our country, all of them have contributed to this, and we will certainly be proud to see our flag flying high."

    SOUNDBITE Jyothi Surekha, women's bronze medal winner:

    "We are very happy, it is the first time that Compound archery is included in the Asian Games. And we won a medal in that. We are feeling very good about it."

    SOUNDBITE Trisha Deb, women's bronze medal winner:

    "It's a great feeling, but if it was a gold medal it would have been better. Nevertheless, a medal is always a medal, so we are quite happy."
