  • Intro:

New York Knicks president Phil Jackson and coach Derek Fisher speak to the media.

    Script:

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Phil Jackson:

"Well we have had considerable amount of personnel change. With the number of players that we have at camp and the number of players that we have under contract, that's a considerable amount of change. And we're hoping it's all for the good and we fit together quite well. And that's what we're trying to do, we're trying to get people who can fit together and work together. We have some youth and we have some veteran players who have come in to join us. We've got some size, we've also got some young guards and hopefully a little bit of a quicker team too in the process."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Derek Fisher:

"Well no that's a good question. Carmelo [Anthony] has definitely had to carry a huge load for this basketball team in the past. And we're hoping not just in minutes played per se, but how those minutes are played, how he's utilised within the framework of what we want to do as a team. And then the medical, and training staff and performance people doing their jobs. So we're all going to do our best to make sure that everyone stays healthy and has a chance to finish the season as strong as they started."
