England's Charley Hull shot a final-day 70 to finish fourth at the Spanish Open on Sunday.

The 18-year-old carded six birdies to end on eight under.

In third was American Beth Allen, three shots off the lead.

Spain's Carlota Ciganda was second on 10 under in Tenerife.

South African Connie Chen fired a superb final round of three-under-par 69 in hot and breezy conditions to earn her first Ladies European Tour victory in the Canary Islands.

The 21-year-old from Pretoria ended on 12-under-par and two strokes clear of home favourite Ciganda.

Chen began the final round tied for the lead with Amy Boulden at Golf Costa Adeje but started strongly with a birdie on the picturesque fourth hole.

She went on to gain a four stroke advantage over four other players and played steady golf until the final hole.
