Everton are looking to bounce back from Sunday's 3-2 home English Premier League defeat to Crystal Palace when they face Swansea City in the League Cup on Tuesday.

It is not one of those situations that you have got the choice whether you play a game or not that is what it is. We embrace it. I think we want to be involved in as many competitions as we can. And we are prepared to do that. I think that it is important to show as a team that we have got the mentality right from one game to another."
