    Script:

Vitesse's distinctive yellow and black stripes replaced by claret and blue in honour of the British Army's 1st Airborne Division, in order to commemorate the Battle of Arnhem 70 years on.

The battle saw thousands of lives lost when the British attempted to remove the Germans from Nazi occupied Arnhem.

The game itself saw Vitesse play host to Heerenveen.

And it wasn't long into the game before the home fans were stunned by a bullet from Mark Uth.

The striker notching his fourth goal in six in the Eredivisie.

Yet, the home side came back. Six minutes later the ball broke to Davy Propper to pull the sides level.

Propper again was the focus of Vitesse's next attack, here in the 36th minute letting fly from 30 yards.

It was Heerenveen who had the best of the second half, Joey van den Berg with the follow up effort here.

That was it for chances. the 1-1 draw meaning Heerenveen remain fourth, while Vitesse sit in 17th.
