"I think what Li Na did was amazing. She won a first Grand Slam and I think a lot of people started playing tennis. People know how tough tennis is."

"Yeah I think it's very important to share with other people in Asia. Tennis is growing in Asia and I really love to promote Asian tennis and I hope I can be the first one to break the goals and I hope more and more kids start playing tennis."

"Yeah a lot of people came up to me at the airport and a lot of people congratulated me and it was a great feeling and (I'm) very honoured to make another history and I hope I can do another big, big thing."

"Yes I always love to play in these Asian tournaments, I am going to KL (Kuala Lumpur), Japan and Shanghai and especially my home country Japan, I won two years ago so hopefully I can win it again."
