Rivals North and South Korea met for the 2014 Asian Under-16 Championship title Saturday night in Bangkok, Thailand.

South Korea opened their account on a corner-kick in the 34th minute when (5) Choi Jae-young converted with the header to give the Reds a 1-0 lead.

But four minutes into the second-half, North Korea equalised with a goal by (9) Han Kwang Song to level the match at 1-1.

North Korea then moved ahead in the 66th minute when (10) Choe Song Hyok took advantage of a defence mistake - then drove a shot into the top corner of the South Korea goal to make it 2-1.

That would prove to be the matchwinner as North Korea defeated South Korea 2-1 to win the 2014 AFC Under-16 Championship title.
