  • Intro:

Cameron Smith of Australia leads by one shot on eight-under-par, after the third round of the Selangor Masters in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia on Saturday (20th September).

    Script:

The third round of the Selangor Masters at the Seri Selangor Golf Club - and a two-shot overnight lead for Anirban Lahiri of India.

A birdie at the second increased that lead to three - but then his day got decidedly worse.

Three bogeys followed - including here at the seventh - before a shocking double-bogey, double-bogey finish on 17 and 18 saw him slide to a 76 and seventh place on five-under.

A man having a totally different day was Hung Chien-yao of Taiwan - he carded 67 for a share of fourth on six-under.

Joining him there was Jake Higginbottom of Australia and this man, David Lipsky of the USA.

He leads the Order of Merit after a - and a two-under 69 leaves him on six-under as well.

But the leader with 18 holes remaining in is 20-year-old Cameron Smith of Australia.

This eagle at the 13th was the highlight of his round of 71.

However, it could have been so much better as he bogeyed three of his final four holes leaving him with a one-shot lead going into Sunday.
