    SOUNDBITE: (English) Lee Westwood, Europe:

"I've always tried to play competitively the week before, say a Major championship or something like that, and the Ryder Cup's right up there with how important Majors are, and I like to play well and get my scoring together. I haven't played for three weeks, so I might be a bit rusty and shake that off this week."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Lee Westwood, Europe:

"I think it's nice this is going to give us a feel of how next week's golf course is going to play. Obviously, it can all change with the weather. But it's certainly a help to be putting on the same speed greens and having the same fringe type conditions around the greens."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Stephen Gallacher, Europe:

"You are going to be.... you are going to be warming up a little bit for next week, playing the course. Very similar. Both Ryder Cup courses. Very similar with the weather and everything and so, yeah, it's the best of both worlds really."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Stephen Gallacher, Europe:

"I've been thinking about it for a year and a bit. Since it started, you know. I've done well the last couple of weeks. Obviously trying to get into the team. Now I want to keep my form on, so it will give me a little bit of confidence."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Thomas Bjorn, Europe:

"Two golf courses are never completely the same and we've got plenty of time when we get there to get used to the golf course. So, we'll work with that, but yeah, certain things, the greens seem to be very to be very similar to what they normally are up there. There's a lot of good things and at least you don't have to spend hours and hours getting the speed right on the greens. So, there are some similarities and I think it's a good thing for the guys that are playing here. They'll feel comfortable when they get up there."
