  • Intro:

Post-match reaction from the KC Stadium on Monday (September 15th) after Hull City and West Ham United played out a 2-2 draw in the English Premier League.

    Script:

"Certainly the first goal was one of the best goals you'll see this season, and certainly we've seen some terrific goals already, but the power and the accuracy of the shot was past McGregor before he could even move - and I think that it stunned the whole ground, I think they went silent, it was that good a goal. And, of course it was very important for us to get back in the game at that stage because we were nip and tuck, I think, in the first half but Hull managed to get their noses in front. And then, for me, we took control of the game for a long period and I thought somewhere along we were going to get another chance, and we had one or two but we then went and gifted Hull City with a second goal and I'm thinking, 'you know, come on lads, you can't allow us to play like this and not get anything out of this game'. But we did bounce back very quickly with a goal from Sakho. And, of course, then at the death when you've just seen what happened right at the last minute and you're thinking to yourself, 'well, we're a little bit unlucky in the end that we haven't got the three points'. But having come back from a goal down and then 2-1 down, we have to say it's a good point in the end and well respected when you're playing away from home."
