    Akhisar Belediye move up to second place in the table, while Besiktas snatch a late draw in the second round of the Turkish Super Lig on Monday (15th September).

    Week two of the Turkish Super Lig concluded with two games, the first - Sivasspor looking for a first win when they travelled to Akhisar Belediye on Monday.

    Yet the hosts were quick out the blocks and took the lead in the ninth minute - Theofanis Gekas with the clever finish.

    However last year's fifth placed side Sivasspor came back in the second half.

    The away side's patient build-up paid off as Akhisar sat back. Aatif Chahechouhe playing a neat one two and pulling his side level.

    And it was Chahechouhe who was again involved as the fourth official showed four minutes of extra-time.

    The ball eventually breaking for the 28-year-old midfielder to score what was surely the winner for Sivasspor.

    However, Akhisar had time for one more chance. Mahmut Taskiran with the long range effort, and Theofanis Gekas followed up to conclude a dramatic 2-2 draw.

    Also on Monday, Besiktas hosted Rizespor.

    It looked like being one of those days for Besiktas as they dominated play.

    However, with just nine minutes to go, Olcay Sahan side footed home from an unlikely angle.
