    Script:

In the final round of the 2014 FIM Motocross World Championship in Mexico, Max Nagl continued his exceptional late season form.

The HRC rider's aggression in the first two laps saw him at the head of the pack.

But it was Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team's Gautier Paulin who lead the race early on.

His advantage was quickly cut down by Antonio Cairoli and Nagl though.

In a hard fought contest, Nagl prevailed and claimed the first race of the day.

Race two saw Nagl take an early lead again.

He maintained the position for much of the race, but Paulin continued to apply pressure.

Nagl couldn't match the Frenchman's pace in the end.

Paulin taking the chequered flag to wrap the season up in style.

Cairoli finished second, Kevin Strijbos third, Nagl settling for fourth.

But it was a fine display as the flag came down on another MXGP season.
