Invictus Games close in style

    The Invictus Games have closed in style with a music concert headlined by Bryan Adams and the Foo Fighters.

    Script:

    It's a music concert with a difference.

    In rock star style, the Invictus Games have come to a close in front of hundreds of competitors and spectators at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

    The 4 day Paralympic-style event for injured servicemen and women is being hailed a resounding success.

    Music legend Bryan Adams opened the spectacle, but had this to say before he kicked things off.

    "Before I do this song I want to say a special thank you to Prince Harry for putting this together. Good job!"

    Prince Harry, who was also celebrating his 30th birthday, has been driving the force behind the games.

    He was inspired by a similar project in the US called the Warrior Games.

    "You're here tonight to show your support for Team Great Britain and every other single serviceman and woman that has taken part in the last week."

    More than 400 competitors from 13 nations have taken part in the Games.

    They were honoured with a medal as they paraded onto the stage to mark the end of the landmark event.
