Last season's top two Belgian clubs were in action on Saturday, with both Standard Liege and Anderlecht dropping points.

Standard started brightly against Oostende and Jeff Louis gave last term's Belgian Pro League runners-up the lead.

But Oostende started the second half with renewed vigour and Sebastien Siani completed the comeback after Elimane Coulibaly levelled.

Igor de Camargo managed to equalise for Standard but they soon found themselves 4-2 down when Fernando capitalised on a loose ball.

There was another goal each for both sides but Oostende prevailed 5-2.

If you thought that was an upset, there was another shock still to come after Anderlecht were held at Lierse.

A wonder goal by Wanderson left the pink-shirted visitors red-faced right on the stroke of half-time.

With under ten minutes left, Anderlecht's Zoro Cyriac thought he'd sealed the turnaround, following Frank Acheampong's equaliser.

But Lierse's Pierre-Yves Ngawa netted in the 94th minute to snatch an unlikely point.
